Treatment can start immediately after your consultation, after which your face will be cleansed and a topical anesthetic will be applied to make the treatment as comfortable and painless as possible. Juvéderm® Recovery
After Juvéderm® injections, there is hardly no downtime. You may notice some bruising, swelling, and redness around the injection sites on your face, but these minor side effects will subside within a few days. For the next 24 hours after treatment, you should avoid drinking alcohol, engaging in extraneous activities, and being exposed to prolonged periods of sunlight.
Juvéderm® Results
Juvéderm® instantly adds volume when injected. Some results will be noticeable right away. Juvéderm® typically provides results that last anywhere from six months to a year depending on the location of treatment, but may require touch ups to maintain the look for first time users.
